AWARDED NASA CONTRACT FOR
DISPOSITION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY

LARGO, FLORIDA – MAY 7, 2007 -  NASA – Kennedy Space Center, Property Disposal Office awarded a one year contract to Asset Recovery and Conversion, LLC (ARC) of Largo, for the disposition of surplus technology product. The contract calls for the scheduled transition of electric and electronic surplus property from the Cape to the warehouse of ARC located in Largo, Florida. 

“We are very pleased to be selected from a group of bidders,” stated Debbe Johnson, CEO of Asset Recovery and Conversion.  “This contract is further evidence that the ARC solution to redeploy technology versus simply throwing the technology into the landfill is valued by the federal government,” Ms. Johnson added.  Ms. Johnson continued “We hope that the other agencies within the federal government will follow NASA’s lead, and partner with ARC for the responsible disposition of surplus property and space management.”

This new contract with the public sector will significantly increase the outbound shipment of product from the main warehouse facility in Largo, FL.   ARC will remarket the product through its growing buyer base and dispose of non-operational equipment in an environmental friendly manner, consistent with EPA standards.
